The flu committee is responsible for working with our long standing partner, MHealth on hosting multiple mini flu shot clinics within the Hmong community during flu season from September to November. Mini flu shot clinics is one of the many events that HHCPC have done to provide free flu vaccines to anyone in the Hmong community from 6 months and above, and regardless of insurance coverage. They will be responsible for finding host location(s), doing the outreach, promotion and coordinating volunteers to staff the event for registration, traffic flow and other duties. The flu committee is also responsible to work closely with MHealth to ensure that the logistics of the events run smoothly. If you are passionate about the public health of our community, then this is the committee for you to sign up for!
